The 9-12 Washington D.C. Tea Party was a Major Success!

  On September 12, 2009, hundreds of thousands of American patriots peacefully assembled at the nation's capitol to express their dissatisfaction with the direction our federal government is taking our country.

  Contrary to the liberal media and the President's minions, those who gathered on the west front lawn of the Capitol Building were not racists, loons, or mobsters and they DID represent a majority of the country. This crowd was respresentative of the Americans who make this country work and they have been and will continue to be the backbone of the nation.

  Rather than smear the successes of the country and apologize for it's greatness, the Patriots gathered at this event chose to celebrate the goodness of the American People, wisdom of the Founding Fathers and principles on which the republic was founded. 

  Attendees came from all walks of life and all parts of the country to protect The United States Constitution against those who see it as nothing more than an obstacle; preventing them from passing their agenda. They expressed their outrage toward an expanding government and it's politicians who pass thousand page bills without reading them, while disregarding the concerns of their constituents.

  The people present were a different breed of citizen. They didn't see themselves as victims, care what color anyone was, or where anyone lived. They kept the capitol grounds clean and were respectful to people with and without authority. Most importantly, they were not hyphenated citizens, for they had but one label, American.
